Three times a year, a day is set aside when RMC members do not report to ministry. On these days, RMC volunteers have the opportunity to participate in days of reflection, community activities or alternative service projects to help foster a deeper sense of community.
For April’s RMC day, the Redeemer Ministry Corps volunteers spent the day serving at Pennypack Farm, a local farm that strive to make sustainable agriculture an important part of our community through farming, education, and community events. Despite the unseasonably cold weather, it was a great day to experience the beauty of God’s creation. After the farm, the RMC’s held a Holy Week prayer service.
