Volunteer Gathering

It was a holiday(s) celebration for the Philadelphia area volunteers on Sunday, December 16th.  Volunteers from Redeemer Ministry Corps, SSJ Mission Corps, FVM Wilmington, and Augustinian Volunteers gathered at Chestnut Hill College for an evening of friendship and games.

The volunteers participated in a Christmas-themed obstacle course and enjoyed a potluck Thanksgiving dinner together.  Thanks to everyone who came and the program directors for coordinating the event!

30 Years and counting!

August 24th marked the start of RMC’s 30th year! We are very thankful for the 117 volunteers who have served with us long-term, the 300+ alternative break volunteers, the supportive supervisors and the Sisters who have opened their hearts and homes to our volunteers.

We will be holding an alumni weekend in Sea Isle City, NJ in honor of the Anniversary from May 17-19, 2013.  Invitations will be sent in the coming months.

May the tradition continue for another 30 years and beyond!

A Season of Joy and Prayer

On Sunday, December 2nd, Mass at the Provincialate was held with the special intention of past and present Redeemer Ministry Corps volunteers in honor of the 30th Anniversary.  What a beautiful way to start the season of Advent!

Later that day, four of our current RMC’s participated in a festive Advent prayer service.  Thanks to our RMC angels!
